Well, this is an odd day for me. Historically, if I recall, July 17th was the day Luther entered the Augustinian cloister. It is also the anniversary of the death of John Coltrane, one of my favorite musicians. And yes, it is my birthday. And now, like anyone thrilled with another chance to celebrate a year older, i'm going to work.

And a happy strange birthday to you at that...
Feliz cumpleanos, Santiago (<--the Spanish name for the Biblical "James." I don't know why. It doesn't make much sense to me. "Jaime" seems the more logical choice. Would rather refer to you in a Biblical way though. <<Why am I typing out my thoughts?>>)
Peace,
Ray
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRRRTHDAY TO YOOOOO
HAPPY BIRRRRRRTHDAY DEAR TEEEEEKEWWWWWWWW...
HAPPY BIRRRRRTHDAY TO YOOO.
The real gift is that you didn't have to actually hear me sing that.
:-)
Have a great birthday. See you in the funny papers (or in the channel, either way)
Hey, here's a thought, considering "Swan" is "Cisne" in Spanish, if you redo your blog, rename it "El Bloggo de Santiago Cisne" (I don't know the Spanish word for "blog"). It's got an air of "cool" around it :-)
Ah! Like Carla said, "See ya' in the funny papers" :)
Peace,
Ray
Well Happy Birthday...
(And remember in God's providence Luther entering the cloister was used for good.)
Happy Birthday!
One year closer to retirement?!
Huh? Another jazz man?
Church mouse is correct you will be called "jaime", but look , I know why you have a pre-occupation with Luther.
The last names Swan and Luther are translations of each other in origin, if my memory serves me right.
Happy birthday my friend. May you continue to be blessed in God's providence. . . . Oh, and keep up the good Luther work!
Happy Birthday, James!
