Amazon has this volume used for around $100 at the posting of this entry. New copies are going for $267.34.
In regard to Calvin's sermons in general:
The forty-eight bound manuscript volumes of his sermons- precious as they were the originals, and the more so because a number had not been published- were committed to the Library of Geneva for safe-keeping in November, 1613. Before the end of the next century it appears that nine of these bulky volumes were missing, and then, in 1805, on the grounds they were taking up too much space, all that remained were sold by mere weight to local booksellers!
