If Bl. John Paul II, St. Francis of Assisi and Bl. Mother Theresa can have comics made about them, why not Fr. Luther? But I doubt the Pope would be teamed up with the monarch of Latveria. I seem to read somewhere that Dr. Doom is Orthodox.
