Team Apologian

Here are my last few entries for Team Apologian:

If There Was Ever An Unfair Fight, This Is It-The recent tomb controversy serves as a reminder of how much skepticism the Christian church has endured. The fact that God has spoken, and has done so reliably confounds non-believers. They've tried so many different angles to suppress this truth and hide the fact they are responsible to His Holy Word. (2/26/07)

Cameron's Preface To The Jesus Family Tomb- An overview of the claims made by James Cameron in the Jesus Family Tomb book (2/28/07)

Oprah's Secret- A review of Oprah Winfrey's shows on The Secret, a New Age method promising happiness and success created by Rhonda Byrne. (3/5/07)

On the Perspicuity of Catholic Apologist Gary Michuta-A look at a blog entry by Catholic apologist Gary Michuta. Gary stated, ""Christians often fool themselves into believing that the bible is guiding them into all truth and that the truth of the bible is so clear that any unbiased person can determine its true meaning. The fact of the matter is even the clearest texts have multiple possible meanings." (3/07/07)

Also noteworthy:

Alan Kurschner: Reasons Why Textual Criticism is Essential for God's People and his follow up response to Kevin Johnson: Kevin Johnson Pits the Gospel Against Defending the Gospel.

Jeff Downs has suggested reading this book, Pushing the Antithesis: The Apologetic Methodology of Greg L. Bahnsen. He also gave a good link to a Bibliology Course by Dr. White, as well as a sermon on the God Who Justifies.
