Behold Your Mother is the best in recent scholarship? Color me unimpressed.
ReplyDeleteOn a side note James, the two times that the message said "apostolate" I thought it was saying "apostate" until I read it again, lol.
All I can say is to remind you that the shock these people will receive on Judgment Day is perfectly and exquisitely outlined in no uncertain terms in Matt 7:21-23. Until then, we must endure their religious soundbites of being "committed to Christ".
ReplyDeleteCommitted that is, to "another gospel and another jesus" per 2 Cor 11;4.
Let me know if you want me to take the survey for you, James. It would be a pleasure.
ReplyDeleteThere are many catholics that are Christians Unknown. I spoke to a Catholic that was a hardcore Thomist and believed in the augustinian doctrines of grace.
ReplyDeleteTraitor!
ReplyDeleteI received the same offer.
ReplyDelete17. Please describe which Catholic resources (books, DVDs, audio recordings) have impacted your faith or your family's faith. Include the title of the resource, if possible, and the impact it had on you or your family.
Catholic.com, which helped me realize that if the Inquisition was still in force, and the Catholic Answers mods were part of it, the likes of me (banned for life) would be one of their targets.

Is there an audio file of this online? I would love to listen to it.

ReplyDeleteI had completely forgotten about this debate. I did a quick search, and didn't find it. Probably your best way of hearing it is petting the mp3 from aomin.org.
By the way, Tim Staples is speaking in my area in a few weeks- but it's for a men's conference, so I don't see the point in going. If his talk was apologetic in nature, I would probably try to to go,
Some years back I drove an hour to Patrick Madrid. He was supposed to be speaking on a particular topic, but when I got there, the topic had been changed to something rather dull.
"petting" = "getting"

ReplyDeleteYes, I bought it from aomin.org. It was around 3 or 4 dollars. White is in great form and he absolutely steamrolls Staples.
Adding the link - the AOMin Store was down for several days...
