Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery

Here's a Beggar's All voyage into the Twilight Zone. Can someone explain to me why a Pro-Roman Catholic website called Chant Cd.Com would take one of my Luther papers and host it on their website? It's actually an older version of this paper. They removed my name.

Update: I wrote them, and they put my name back on the paper. The reason for hosting my paper? "Wider distribution."

I still say my all-time favorite is when we documented Steve Ray selling Luther's Works.

  1. I don't know if you are aware of this, but a few years ago I was lured, briefly, across the Tiber. My RCIA instructor told me that he believed Luther to have been "a good and holy man". It's just too bad that Protestants can't agree on anything. Not that any of this has to do with your post. I just thought it might be interesting.

  2. I do recall that.

There are indeed many Roman Catholic scholars that would agree with your RCIA instructor. The majority of zealous Roman Catholic laymen who visit this blog probably haven't read any of their books.

You've gotta ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?"
