Haha...as a lifelong Catholic, I guess I can say I "crossed the Tiber" as well...then crossed back to get to my hotel. Have a safe trip.
I found long lines at the Vatican, even with paying the "skip the line" fee. There is no "skipping the line" in Rome.
Sorry about that Ken. I couldn't resist. As I stood in St. Peter's, I looked around at what all that indulgence money paid for.
