On the topic of "then vs now"

Here's a "crash test" between a 2009 Chevy Malibu vs a 1959 Chevy Bel Air. You'll hear all the time, "they don't make 'em like they used to." In some cases, that's not a bad thing.

This is one of many reasons why it's better now than it was then. I think the principle that's demonstrated here can be extrapolated across a whole range of subjects.
