...and so my 2009 Flu (or something very much like it), appears to be moving on. No fever today, and food looks very enticing again.

  2. Hello James, glad to hear you are feeling better. I always look at the times when I am sick as a great opportunity to drop a bad eating/drinking habit. It's a great way to start implementing a better/healthier lifestyle. Last year, when I had a stomach virus, I had zero desire for just about anything, especially coffee - which I probably was abusing. It was a great time to change over to grean tea without any drawbacks of caffeine withdrawal. It lasted for a while, and I saw some benefits of not drinking coffee. Then one morning I woke up with a craving for some DD French Vanilla coffee, yada, yada, yada, I can't remember what green tea even looks like anymore.

  3. I've been caffiene free since April.

I slowly decreased the amount of regular coffee with decaf. Every so often, I'll still drink a cup of regular coffee, but it doesn't have the same effect it once did.

I also don't drink soda, or any other caffiene drinks. Overall, I like the feeling of life without being caffinated!

  4. Yes, James, glad you're feeling better. My son has just gotten over the flu--he was miserable and missed several days of school.

  5. Hopefully it was the H1N1, that way you'll be over it. Drink lots of Gatorade.

You've gotta ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?"
