A Roman Catholic View of Salvation

Monsignor Lorenzo Albacete

He reads Paul in his context?

On Buddhist salvation, the Buddhist will get to heaven “probably faster than I will.”

How about an atheist? Just watch.

Not sure what it's worth...

  1. JohnMark,

I'll have to ask You what I've also asked Carrie:

What does Luke 4:24-27 and the Parable of the Good Samaritan, for instance, mean to You?

Well, he makes a few good points, for example that if a Christian fullfils the externals of the moral law without love, he is damned. But his comment about the salvation of Buddhists and atheists is worthless.

  3. Umm, this is so pathetic that I hardly even know where to begin. It is classic Roman Catholicism to the core. Know absolutely nothing about the Scriptures but put just enough Christian-ese lingo around your poison that people will swallow it with little to no convulsions.

They do the same with many other forms of destruction btw, except that the result isn't damnation just a dead rat.

  4. Ben,

This man is a priest. On what basis can I know that you are right in calling what he's saying "worthless"?

Is it indeed possible for me to understand it and interpret it correctly even though I am a private, fallible individual?

  6. I love it. Its true, because everything comes from what God is. Is this Christian-ese Baked Dirt, or is this Gospel? Look at Christ, not your ideology.

You've gotta ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?"
