When Catholic Apologists Pray for You

I'll keep praying for you, as I do all my severe, hostile, critics.” [Source]

I’m curious how these prayers actually sound, and if any of this language is utilized:

Jimbo

Anti-Catholic polemicist and pseudo-"apologist" James Swan

James ‘Dave Got The Citation Wrong Again!’ Swan

James ‘A.......g Botches Every Citation He Makes’ Swan

Similarly, I wonder if these titles are used as well:

Steve “Whopper” Hays, David T. “I Could Care Less about Context”, KingDr. Eric “The Yellow” Svendsen, Frank “Federal Action If You Misrepresent Me” Turk, William “Historical Revisionist” Webster, Bishop King James White

Perhaps there is a particular saint being prayed to, one of whom enjoys such creative language.

  1. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. (James 5:16b NIV)

When a Roman Catholic apologist prays for me, nothing ever happens!!!

  3. Jesus, our one and only savior our true foundation, please continue blessing James with your mercy, grace and love. With the Holy Spirit, please continue strengthening James in all truth. Shelter him in the fullness of your presence now and for all eternity. I humbly pray this in the name of the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

    Dear James,

If so moved, please pray for me as well.

    Thanks much.

Your Catholic servant and brother in Christ,

  4. James, as per theo's request for prayer, a question has come up that I'd like to hear your input on.
What do you think about Protestant/Roman Catholic's praying for each other?
In other words, would you actively seek out a RC to ask for his/her prayer on your behalf? What would be the reason you would, and if you wouldn't please explain why. I personally wouldn't ask a RC to pray nor actively pray together with one for certain biblical reasons, but I am interested in hearing your feedback on the matter.

Q56: What do you believe concerning the "forgiveness of sins"?

A56: That God, for the sake of Christ's satisfaction,[1] will no more remember my sins, nor the sinful nature with which I have to struggle all my life long;[2] but graciously imputes to me the righteousness of Christ, that I may nevermore come into condemnation.[3]

You've gotta ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?"
