One of the best internet sources for the writings of Martin Luther appears to be defunct: Project Wittenberg.
Through the magic of the Internet Archive, the site is still available:

On a whim, I tried to place a backorder bid to re-register the name, but the link wouldn't work. Imagine A Calvinist in charge of Project Wittenberg....think of the possibilities.
I can't think of a better Calvinist than you to do it.

ReplyDeleteThe organization that was kind enough to host Project Wittenberg (and several Reformed projects, too) has gone the way of all flesh. In this internet world, made to survive a nuclear explosion, that does not mean the documents -- or Project itself -- are dead.
Concordia Theological Seminary's Walther Library, the unofficial home of PW since its advent in 1994, as stepped up to the plate. The site is now online again (www.ProjectWittenberg.org), this time to stay. All of the old URLs still work; all you need do is substitute the www.ICLNet.org with www.ProjectWittenberg.org and you're there.
