He seemed to me regarding Luther and Lutherans somewhat in the Pope Leo camp. A prominent Catholic priest was also there to give a response and it was quite satisfying to hear him say that more or less Trent was infantile in just simply refusing and denying everything the reformation was trying to accomplish.
