Art Sippo is little more than a crank. God grant him repentance.eklektoshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08258828442369684175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19795707.post-1149623903307907142006-06-06T15:58:00.000-04:002006-06-06T15:58:00.000-04:00Very well said, Frank. It seems that the Sippos of this world are content in their caricatures of Luther and lose themselves in them, yet all the while ignoring the skeletons in their own closets. They cannot see the simple message of Scripture and a Luther who sought to bring realization to the firstfruits of the faith, a Luther who yearned for dialogue with a Church he loved. Instead they prefer to read and listen to anything which casts a dark shadow on Luther, demonizing him, making him a wretched fellow who sought to divide the Church and make a name for himself. Sadly, this is the Luther they want, the Luther they crave.

Peace,
RayChurchmousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13521990026485330450noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19795707.post-1149597491521484252006-06-06T08:38:00.000-04:002006-06-06T08:38:00.000-04:00Well spoken James. I wonder what a psycho-analytic analyis wold reveal? And do not all Christians treat with distaste the efforts to read into Paul a psychological hatred of women?

Moreover one wonders if Sippo would like it if we wre to start making remarks similar to his. He speaks of the "Deformation." Could we not speak of the Immaculate Deception? The Doctrine of Papal Impossibility? Perpetual Turbidity (implying that Mary was not so pure) The Counterfeit-Reformation?

No, it is clear that Sippo cannot brook a single standard. Hence his vitriol towards you.Oddball Pastorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09652489553058249992noreply@blogger.com
