Another Quick Family Radio Update

It's 11:30 where I am, 30 minutes till May 22. Family Radio TV is playing an old episode of The Beverly Hillbillies. I kid you not. Unbelievable.

The stray Campingite I've been listening to live just predicted a massive earthquake for May 22. He first said it would take place at 4 AM in Los Angeles and 6 AM in NYC. He's also stated he's not good with math.

The website still shows "00" days left. I tried checking it a few times yesterday and the server seemed overloaded. I wonder when Camping will say something?

I would like to concur with the conclusion that this will be forgotten, but i cannot. Considering the scope of his outreach, due to the age of media we live in, and the age of militant atheism and skepticism in which we live, brings me to conclude that Camping is a devil-send to those who seek occasion to reject the Bible, while increasing the degree of skepticism among souls that live.

Meanwhile, the lack of discernment among the simple who believe every word of Camping (cf. Pr. 14:15) - and which the Ezekiel 33 video you posted helped me to see (thanks) - even without signs (not coroplast ones) and lying wonders, (2Thes. 2:9) is very sad and disturbing, and brings to remembrance the words of Christ in Mk. 13:22, "...to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect."

But "If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself." (Jn. 7:17)

Camping's rejection of the church was necessary for him to deceive, as Scripture states it supplies offices (which Camping supplants with himself), so that we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive." (Eph. 4:14)

Those who doctrinally reject it (not simply who may not be able to go for a time), are susceptible to flagrant deception, as are those who trust in a church, which like Camping, supposes it alone is assuredly correct based upon its own formula.

We did have a tornado warning in my city today. Maybe that's what Harold Camping meant.

Carrie, he needs a counter that tells how many days have passed since his latest false prophecy, as i configured mine to do, (http://peacebyjesus.witnesstoday.org/Camping.html) to remind him of the damage he has done. Those counters can be tricky though.

That the tornado was caused by Camping's hot air is about as likely as his numerical extrapolations having credence.

This man comes along and has such exposure after men have labored for decades defending the Bible and proven rule of interpretation, is grievous.

But God must allow such, as it provides a choice for men to make and reveals hearts, just it did in the Garden.

I don't recall saying this, perhaps someone else did. No, I don't think it will go anywhere for a while, especially if Camping doesn't simply repent on Monday night.
